I will be gone for the weekend and then some on vacation. I'll be on the East Coast, from a hippie museum to whale watching to Salem. So yeah. BG1, since you're the only semi-active member here these days who doesn't have any maladies that may screw with the job, you're in charge until I get back.

See yah, have fun. Where's Salem? Salem, Massachusetts. Home of the famous Salem Witch Trials. I am back, after the vacation. Here's the low-down, ignore my foul spelling of place names, me and name-spelling are not on speaking terms all the time. Day 1: I left Michigan, promising my sister that, to pass the time through Pennsylvania I would be bothering her with my portable Tetris. We stopped at a crappy hotel in Pennsylvania at 3 in the morning, from entering to nightfall I had sporatically turned on my Tetris and played it, sound on, much to my sister's dismay. I told her. Day 2: We left Pennsylvania and drove to New York City. I tell you what, that was the most interesting hell-hole I've ever been to. We only saw the "Good part" of NYC, which means the part where no one notices or cares for your existance as opposed to the part where, apparently, you need to chain your wallet to your arm and carry a shotgun for the rats (I say apparently because we didn't go there to be sure.) We saw Queens, Brooklyn, Time Square, and Coney Island. I seem to have been the only one interested, as the rest of the crew thought it was a bit of a rip-off. We saw an art museum which was very cool, rode in two taxis, and alot of other things that I feel like I'm the only one who thought was cool. By the way, New York drivers are way hardcore, but they seem to not be in a rush so much as they seem to be screwing around, from what I've seen and heard. By 10 we left New York, and by 12 we found ourselves in a hotel in Connecticut. Day 3: After leaving Connecticut, we drove to Salem, Massachusetts. Another let-down to the crew, I found it fairly interesting, if done up a bit cheesily. After the first museum, we grabbed some breakfast. We realized after eating we needed to HAUL ASS if we were going to hit the deck for whale-watching. Come to find out we could have called and say "We're going to be late," of course. My crew was filled with losers, and when they ended up getting wet they were all "Nyee! Hide! It's WATER!" Pack of wimps. When we got there, we saw 10 Humpbacks and a single White Whale. Dangerous business, whale watching, since people would rush to see the whales, making the ship list. You know, a whale on either end could have capsized that boat, and I'll let you determine which whale it is. After that we ran out to this seafood joint, good stuff, and left Massachutsetts that night after collecting shells on the beach. Day 4: This was yesterday. We went back to New York, this time in Bethel. For those who don't know, this town, in 1969, housed Woodstock, and so now there is a museum there. Small joint, kinda disappointing. Why? Well, going to a Woodstock museum, you'd figure it would have all these dirty old hippies going around, and wearing my Free Hugs shirt (yeah, I have a shirt that says Free Hugs,) I should have been given hug after hug. What happened? Pack of idiots who were going there to say "Oh, I've seen the Woodstock Museum. It was quite lovely." Not one single hug. On the upside, though, me and my sister found some rocks (one for each of us) that were probably there at Woodstock (though they had crappy imports above, we determined that if the rock was half buried a hippie stepped on it.) We left and slept in a hotel in Ohio. Day 5: Today. We went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before coming home. Sixth story attraction was the Doors. The first (and prior) time it was U2. We then drove back to Michigan, picked the dog up from the kennel, and returned home. We found our cat laying on the couch. The house smelled like he had died, but he was alive and in as good of shape as that lump of blobbiness can get, and surprisingly for his immense hunger he didn't eat the whole tray of food we left him or even half of it, managing to make it through five days eating like a regular cat. I didn't check the toilet, didn't matter much, but he certainly got his water from there, we meant that to happen. The basement was full of cat poo, which Mom and her boyfriend cleaned up while me and my sister finished getting our souvenirs. So, that's the story.

I won't be on a while through out the week. My Grandpa was just in a car accident and was killed, it's been pretty tough. And we're going to Indiana for his funeral. I wanna go but my parents and I aren't sure about the school work, so I'll let you guys up the choice.

As administrator, I want you to stay, but it's the human in me what determines my take. As a person and as your friend I say try and go to your grandfather's funeral. School-work should be least concern right now, and if your teachers think otherwise, then you can honestly tell your parents that your teachers are insufferable jack-asses.
