Game: Duck Hunt, 1984
Notes: Duck is the most obscure and ridiculous idea I've ever come up with, and I have mixed emotions about submitting this myself. However when I was younger and first saw the Duck trophy in Melee I had wanted to play as the Duck in Smash Bros. I never quite figured out a moveset for one, until now anyway. THe moveset is based around my imagination, and the cartoonish style of Duck Hunt.
Duck is a very cartoonish character, in that he is similar to Donald or Daffy Duck. When using gun items his wings will seem to form "Feather-Fingers" with which he can use to pull the trigger and other such things. He also uses these "wing hands" to grapple opponents with and grab ledges.
He almost will NEVER touch the ground. Exceptions to this rule are ducking and being knocked down. He flies above the arena a little bit. When "Standing Still" or "Walking" he is in a sitting/standing position, gently flapping his wings with comfort and ease. When he is "Running" he will form into a more laying and aerodynamic formation.
He often grabs items with his "Hand-Wings" and will continue flying by flapping one wing. When he fires guns he will manage to hover temporarily. My explanation is that firing a weapon doesn't take long so nobody will really notice or care for that matter.
You can tell when he jumps because of his jumping formation. His wings will flap down quickly to use the air pressure to make him "jump." He is only equipped with double jumps instead of flapping multiple times. He also has a recovery.
He is still low enough to the ground to be damaged by shockwaves.
Moves:
B: Egg 'Em - Tosses a common white egg at the enemy. 50% chance that the egg wil crack and spill poison yolk onto the enemy, which sticks for 5 seconds while zapping their health.
Smash B: Bombardment - Backs up a tiny bit (but diagnolly up to keep the attack feel) then lunges forward, perfectly streamlined with beak point ready. Charges in a straight line.
Down B: Butt Bomb - Slams onto the ground heavily, creating damaging shockwaves.
Up B: Tornado Bill - Faces upwards and does multiple barrel rolls. During which the speed in which he rolls increases and the wind around his upper half will form a tornado of sharp, painful winds for damaging enemies.
Extreme: Smasher Hunt - Duck flies off screen, leaving the target enemy alone. Suddenly on the screen, a red FPS aimer appears and makes it's way over to target the enemy. The words "Lock On" appear and the enemy gets shot multiple times.
