This sucks. Well, I guess I'm done with that, because this "Chaos Element" is confusing, and annoying.
Anyway, opinions on this?

Why didn't they just merge with here? I'd have been willing to accept the merger under one condition.

He said it was going to be closed on Friday. I got an e-mail (from DAN) that mentioned this. This COULD mean that TGO closed down on the 19th. So, DAN, spill it. What's the deal?

That's surprising... I thought that TGO was a popular forum, I wonder why it was shut down.

Alright, I'll explain.
Chaos Element is a well established site. It's been around for 4 years, it has paid for features, and I'm friends with the root admin there, as well as some of the members.
TGO wasn't getting anymore active. In fact the post/thread statistics were getting lower, the ability to attract new members was dwindling, and Rukario and I didn't really have a plan for the forum.
Merging TGO with Chaos Element is a brilliant idea. The members get along fine, there is an RPG game on CE, an Arcade, as well as many boards. The only thing CE doesn't have that it's working on right now are some better skins and banners. Other than that it's taking off and is superior to TGO.
Most of all, TGO was deleted because Dill93 hacked the site and deleted my account as well as Rukario's. If I didn't alert Rukario to this he wouldn't have been able to delete the site and Dill would've used it to give Joe's planned forum a boost.
We didn't merge with SBL or SC because we don't want to be on a themed site. Themed sites only attract certain kinds of members.
It's to my understanding most of the TGOers who were turned off didn't bother trying to change the ugly default skin. But really, the people who don't come in the merge were never for TGO anyway.

Or they're not for CE I at least browsed TGO everyday, and posted where I could. I refuse to attempt to navigate CE any further. Every board I clikc has only one thread for some reason, and I despise the toolbar setup. Everything is far advanced past anything necessary to the point where it has become unenjoyable to browse. More is not always merrier.

Or they're not for CE No. TGO. Don't try to trick yourself into believing something that isn't true. The boards have an age cutoff.

Which is retarded. And not just the age cutoff.
DAN, I liked TGO, you can't tell me what I did and didn't like. I DON'T[/b} like CE and it had NOTHING to do with TGO.

Posting on TGO would show some means of liking and admiration to it. Creating threads would show some liking for TGO. Browsing the forum when you have nothing better to do doesn't mean you like TGO.
