Yoshi's yet again been confirmed without confirmation, this time in the form of music. Sakurai's newest update is dedicated to Yoshi music, further emphasizing us something we've figured for a while but never had real confirmation of: Yoshi's going to be in Brawl.

And today has confirmed the return of the Pokeball, along with three Pokemon. These three are Chikorita, Goldeen, and Groudon. Groudon just stands in the field, I assume using Eruption.

He seems to be using "walk" x-D. Lame if you ask me. I dreamt of that stage I suggested but this means it won't happen in SSBB. Oh, and Chikorita = less chances of Absol appearing as I proposed here. Was it that hard to include a SolarBeaming Meganium?

Not really. Chikorita's chances were improved what with her appearance earlier.
The thing with Groudon is that, if it were just him walking, then I doubt he'd be making so many people go boom-boom-fire-big-die-person like his description stated. Whatever it is he's using, he's burning people in such a way that, even though he's completely still, he's making boom-boom-fire-big.

I guess it's because they still needed a Leaf Pokémon as a user of Razor Leaf . Meh about Chikorita. But Groudon is just a walking Moltres from what I can tell now. Named or not named, I don't love it.

Same, but whatever. At least you could actually name Moltres' move. Groudon's freakin' whack.
EDIT: Oh come ON! We all know how to recover from a fall! Give us something useful!
In case you're wondering, today's update is the most ridiculous one of them all: Sakurai told us it's possible to double-jump and use your Up-B move to get back on stage. If anyone knows Smash Bros., they know that!

I wonder why the items page says "Poké Balls" and not "Poké Ball". What do you guys think it means? (a) "Various types of Poké Balls"? Or (b) "Poké Ball item and all the Pokémon"?

Maybe B.
Anyways, the current update added in two more vets, specifically, Kirby and Pikachu. Not a big surprise, but it's better than "Hey, you can hit Y and then Up-B to get back to stage!"

I hope today we get Fox, then some newcomer. Metaknight for me.

I'd prefer the Newbie first, like Wario or Metaknight. The latter especially.
