Ranks are very important on this board, as with all boards.
I'm probably boring you, aren't I?
Okay, here's the scoop on powers.
Neophytes: All the member powers. However, leniance is significantly lacking should a Neophyte break a rule. When someone's karma hits -25 and they break another rule, they are banned for three days and made into a Neophyte. If a Neophyte's karma hits -25, they may plead their case directly to me why they should be returned to a normal Member. If hit karma -40 as a Neophyte and you break a rule, you are banned for a week. After that, you need to get your karma all the way to 0 to get to plead their case. If you break a rule at Level 2 Neophyte, you'll be banned until I find that I can, indeed, believe you are ready to come back (through e-mail, IM, Wii-mail, or some other form of communication.) Guest-spamming your case will NOT get you back in.
Members: Well, you know your powers.
Knights: Knights have Member powers, but can also search members, PM everyone, and reply in a locked thread. They are allowed to ban, but only with permission. Exception is with raiders.
Moderators: Mods have Knight powers, however, mods can ban on their own. Also, mods can move or delete threads, delete posts, and lock polls and threads. They also have other powers I won't list.
Global Moderators: Globals are mods with slightly more power. A global can delete members entirely, bump and sticky, and can modify posts.
Administrator: I GOT THE POWER! Seriously, I do. Everyone knows Admin powers, I need not list them.
