What do you think would make a good Nintendo crossover other then Samsh Bros? I think a DKC and mario would work, as well as a Mario and Kirby crossover.
Anyway, I'll go more in depth with my ideas later (though my Mario and Donkey kong Country one can be read in the Game Ideas thread), I mostly want to hear yours.

Mario/Pokemon. That'd be freaking hilarious. Shnawsly. It'd be freaking perfect.

I totally agree on Mario + Kirby. Both Bowser and King Dedede are a similar kind of villain (a comical, fantastic, evil kind of villain you can even ally with). I'd love to see such a crossover made real, since their universes are not that different.
Mario + DK is already a reality in arcade and spin-off games, so that's the least hard to think of.
Any crossover with Pokémon would sound weird to me since there's always more and more quirky Pokémon species around, to the point that the introduction of a stranger character wouldn't make him/her/it that special. But at one time I thought Kirby + Pokémon was a good idea, since he could pose as a typical, versatile, Normal-type Pokémon-like creature.
F-Zero + Star Fox sounds like a good idea; the problem is that there are no humans in the Star Fox universe.

Z-Zero and StarFox? Hmm... Well, as shown, not all of the Star Fox universe is known, after all, they hadn't yet discovered the Aparoid Homeworld. Also, they needed to set-up a warp to get there, showing that they can leave their limited areas. LoZ and FE. I've never played FE, but a friend of mine thought it would be cool

Mario/Pokemon could work due to the quirky nature of both games, as with Kirby/Pokemon.

F-Zero and StarFox would make an easy crossover. The two franchises practically go hand in hand. Heck, James McCloud is a playable character in F-Zero, so who knows?

Well, technically he is anyways. But yeah, that is an easy shot.

And then again, there was that one ending in Star Fox Command where *SPOILER ALERT* Fox and Falco give up being pilots and convert their Arwings into racing machines for the "G-Zero" Grand Prix. =P

Many consider them as mere cameos or "intentional coincidences", but you're right, their worlds and settings could blend well.
