Name: Birdo
Game: Doki Doki Panic/Super Mario Bros. 2/USA
Birdo will borrow some of Yoshi's unused attacks, similar to how Ness (and now Lucas) borrowed attacks and weapons from other characters.
Taunt: Spins around and blows a kiss to the player while winking.
Intro: A Pidgett will fly by with Birdo hitching a ride on his magic carpet. Birdo leaps onto the stage as Pidgett flies off-screen. (Why this? Birdo and Pidgett were the only two SMB2 enemies to appear in the Subcon stage in Melee, just one of my little nods to previous installments.)
Stats:
Speed: 6/10
Power: 6/10
Fall: 4/10
Size: 5/10
Weight: 5/10
Jump: 6/10
Traction: 5/10
Up-B: Dino Dance - Based off her balet-like victory dancies from Super Mario Strikers: Charged, Birdo will twirl as she goes upward, resembling a balerina.
B: Egg - Her signature move. She spits a large white egg at foes, unlike usually though, her egg for Smash will move with decent speed. Occasionally she'll spit a large, spiked fireball that will do twice as much damage as the egg (these fireballs also appeared in SMB2.)
Smash B: Smooch - Based off what I thought was a memorable moment in Mario Power Tennis when a Birdo went to kiss Bowser. Birdo's snout will enlarge and she'll kiss, either the air or foes. This can be used to deflect projectiles, or daze foes.
Down B: Dust Cloud - Remember that Yoshi attack I mentioned? Here it is. Birdo will heavily stomp the ground, kicking up damaging dust clouds. Unlock most ground-slam attacks, she can't use this in the air. When in the air her Down B is replaced with a downward egg-launch.
Final Smash: Turbo Birdo - Birdo will become temporarily invincible and her speed will double, as well as her jump. Her falling speed will also drop. During this time she is surrounded by a pink aura. She can also spit gigantic eggs based off the ones from Strikers Charged.
