---------- Name: Warp PipeFrom: Super Mario Bros. (NES, 1985) Description: If you throw this at an opponent, it will give them a damage equal to that of a Crate container. Throw this pipe at the ground to set it, and one of the countless Mario alter egos from Nintendo's history will appear to assist you on beating your opponents. Some of them are: - Referee Mario
- Pinball Mario
- Marine Pop Mario
- Sky Pop Mario
- Tanooki Mario
- Hammer Mario
- Kuribo's Shoe Mario
- Kart Pilot Mario
- Baker Mario
- Archaeologist Mario
- Super Star Baby Mario
- Wing Mario
- Vanish Mario
- Paper Mario
- Spray Nozzle Mario
- Turbo Nozzle Mario
- Pinball Ball Mario
- Mega Mario
- Mini Mario (not to be confused with Mini-Mario toys)
- Shell Mario
- Bee Mario
- Boo Mario
You guys and I could expand this list and describe each "Mario Assist" (provisional name) on detail separatedly later. ---------- There are many Pokémon, so SSB has Poké Balls. There are many Nintendo characters, so SSB has Assist Trophies. So, isn't an item like this a coherent one?

What if the Wii isn't powerful enough to fill up the screen with a bunch of Assist Trophies, Pokeballs, and Warp Pipes?

Blue Shell Mario (NSMB ) Strikers Mario (Mariuo Strikers) Jumpman (Donkey Kong) Baby Mario (Yoshi's Island) Mega Mario (NSMB Yoshi Mario (SMW)
All I can think of.
Also, I don't really like the idea much. I think we have enough of those items.

What if the Wii isn't powerful enough to fill up the screen with a bunch of Assist Trophies, Pokeballs, and Warp Pipes? Hmm... That'd be a good question, but unfortunately we don't know the way those guys are programming the presence of such characters/objects in stage. If the amount of object categories (Assist Trophies, Poké Balls, etc.) is too big, then they'd have to restrict how many overall containers could be on stage at once, just like how you can't make infinite Poké Balls appear in SSBM's Training Mode.
