This is one of those things that made Super Mario Land so different from the rest. ---------- Name: Super Flower From: Super Mario Land (Game Boy, 1989) Description: Grab this flower and you will be able to shoot a limited amount of Superballs that bounce on the ground and walls, giving a decent damage to your foes (unlike its use in Super Mario Land, this ball won't keep flying up after the first bounce). Xatu's forecast: Low chances of appearing in SSBB ---------- Upon touching this flower, Mario is given the ability to shoot Superballs (the same way he gains the ability to shoot Fireballs when he touches a Fire Flower). The Superball, however, acts different than a Fireball. The Superball will bounce from one surface to another without losing any velocity whatsoever until it either flies out into space, hits an enemy, or eventually disintegrates. Using its unique abilities Mario can aim for enemies out of reach by jumping, and with the proper angle, hit enemies while facing away from them. The only bad thing I see with this item is that its model would have to be made so that it doesn't get confused with the Fire Flower. It's an item made to work in SML, one of the very first Game Boy games, and was replaced by the Fire Flower in SML2, but it's a Mario item nonetheless (and got an artwork as seen above).

Grab this flower and you will be able to shoot an unlimited amount of Superballs that bounce on the ground and walls, giving a decent damage to your foes (unlike its use in Super Mario Land, this ball won't keep flying up after the first bounce). What do you mean by "It won't keep flying up after the first bounce?" Also, I don't like the unlimited use. It seems overly useful, especially since it seems like they do considerably more damage here, though it took multiple hits to kill even basic enemies with the Superball in SML. Weaken the Superball if it's gonna have unlimited use, or remove the unlimited use in general. Remember, it needs to be weaker than the Fireballs which were OHWs. Graphics don't matter. Given that the Super Flower was black-and-white in SML, the head could be a recolor of the Fire Flower. SMB3 provides an available solution in blue, as does SML with the monochromatic scheme. There are many possibilities that would make it potentially different from the Fire Flower, color-wise.

By "not keep flying up" I meant it won't work exactly like in SML, but it will keep bouncing, just like a Fireball (Mario's). I fixed its description, and now it doesn't say it's unlimited (I wish the Fireballs were more powerful without being involved in a misbalance, so I'd like to see something like this at least as an item).
