The Moon Mountain Pass is probably the gloomiest place on Dinosaur Planet, but it's full of funny (though annoying) features. So, it could be a suitable stage for SSBB. BTW, I will often refer to my map so as to make my explanations clearer.
The stage is composed of two main areas. On the left, there is a long flat ground area (I on the map), which is a good place for a brawl. Three platforms (II, III and IV) are floating above this area, so there are much places to fight on. Keep careful, though, there is a pit on the left of the battlefield, so try not to fall in it.
On the right, there is a long slope (V) leading to the Sharpclaw Fort. As in SSBM's Yoshi's Island, fighting on the slopes can be hard, all the more so since there are green spots on the ground that spew out a geyser of plasma every ten seconds (10% damage). On the far right, there is the Sharpclaw Fort itself. This wooden building is controlled by the evil Sharpclaw tribe. It is possible to use the "balcony" as a small platform (VI).
As you can see, there is a hole in the wall of the Sharpclaw Fort. Sometimes, the hole releases about a dozen Fuel Barrels that bounce all around until they fall into the left pit, or until they hit an obstacle. If a Fuel Barrel touches an opponent, the foe will be damaged for 25%, and will be knocked back rather back.
In the pit (on the left of the stage), there is a whirl that acts a bit like the Cannon Barrel in SSBM's Kongo Jungle. Actually, he can either make you hover in the air, and thus save your life, or speed up your fall into the pit.
In the close background of the stage, there is a large hole in the ground (VII). Rarely, a Kalda Chom (look at the third screenshot) will pop out from it, and will shoot green glowing energy balls at the players (7% damage). But most of the time, he just acts as a cameo.
