Hmm... Actually you could make the game as a third-party and submit it to Nintendo in hopes that they publish and release the game. You could use the mouse as the stylus until then. You'd just need some graphics designers (Sprites and stuff), music and sounds people (Maybe Blah?) and a programmer for a gaming program, like Game Maker.

Or would it? I mean it's a simple over-view map, correct? The only difficult part about it would be the battle system, and even then it's mostly just random chances (25% chance of missing, 75% chance of inflicting damage. 34% chance of element effect. 40% chance of critical damage. Etc.) I think, really, the only part that may take some time would be the Intelligence for the enemies and the leveling system.
As for the sprites, you could probably recruit some members of TSR to help out, or maybe even local spriters, like Shrike.
As stated before, I'm sure Blah would lend a hand with music and sound.

I might be able to do something for the programming of the game. The over-world map will be extremely simple, and I should be able to handle it with no problem. And I can probably program some of the battle system, but I'll probably request a bit of help with that on the GM message boards.
But before I can do anything, I need a basic lay-out for how you want it all to peice together (transition between maps and dungeons, battle layout, pause and information menu, etc.)

You would do that for me?? That would be sooooo kind!!!! If you really want to help me with that game, I will PM you or post everything I can. I've invented a complete walkthrough of the game, so it will take a long time typing, but I can give many informations.
Actually, I've drawn some of the maps: if I manage to scan them on my computer, it will probably help.

It would help if I could get as much lay-out info as possible.

Actaully. I would be very good at Enemy Design. I'm really good. Just it might take awhile to do cause I need something that I don't where it is. And of course I'll need a partner or 2(or more). And if that doesn't work out. Atleast let work on Item design or Stage design.
