Name: Excitebike
Game: Excitebike, way the hell back when
Stats:
Speed :: 7/10
Power :: 5/10
Jump :: 6/10
Fall :: 6/10
Size :: 7/10
Weight :: 5/10
Traction :: 4/10
I like taking my unique twists. And for this one, I will tell you that Excitebike only uses his bike in one attack, and he becomes a pixel during that attack, and I will also describe how I would redesign him, because I feel like telling you. Oh, and "Excitebike" seems to be the official name given to the character as established by his Melee Trophy and Brawl Assist.
Redesign: Excitebike will be mostly like his Melee trophy. The difference is that he takes on a more realistic look, rather then his smooth cartoonish counterpart. His suit will also feature a bit more red on the torso and limbs then his 8-Bit counterpat (ignoring his 64 remodel). The back of his suit has a large sprite of the 8-Bit version of Excitebike doing a wheely, and a "Wii" patch is sewn onto his right chest. His helmet will be inverted, red with a white line. His face will be unseen from behind the viser, much like Samus.
Great... but how do you plan to make him fight? Without his bike are you simply using him as a form to channel mis-matched attacks into?
You're all very impatient people, you know that?
Special Attacks:
Up B: None yet, help wanted.
B: Rev Punch - Yay! Another chargeable punch! Fortunatly this one differs, you can't move once it's fully charged. It's actually very much like Marth and Roy's B attack. Basically Bike will reel back with his arm and charge a punch (acompannied by a soft motorcycle revving noise.) And when the B button is release, he'll haul off with a forceful punch that knocks foes away. As you charge, the revving sound will become louder, this helps to indicate the current strength of your charge.
Smash B: Retro - Remember how I said he had a pixel attack? Welcome to the pixel attack! Bike lunges forward, blurring himself to obscurity and transforming into the image of his 8-bit self doing a wheely that is seen on the back of his Brawl suit. He rams into foes as his large pixellated self before returning to normal.
Down B: Ramp - Excitebike summons all his strength and slams his fists into the ground. This results in the ground before him actually deforming and taking a ramp-like shape. The ramp will return to normal as Excitebike stands (it's small, only large enough to block him while he ducks.) It blocks attacks and can knock foes away. Enemies caught by Bike's fists will be buried.
