Kritter komes to the battle to take on his rival, Donkey Kong. Kritter is a krokodile from the Donkey Kong series. He's a fairly generik enemy, and most Kritters serve the purpose of grunts and footmen. Many, if not all, Kritters serve King K. Rool, though there have been kases where a Kritter does another task, notably, Goalies in the Strikers games. Like Koopas, Yoshis, and most Pokemon, Kritter appears to be both a kollektive name and a personal name, though as I say, it only APPEARS to be a personal name, as it is possible that the Kritter in Barrel Blast is an individual with the name Kritter. It may be, interestingly, that as of late Nintendo has opted to retkon the name of Kritters into Kremlings as a kollektive name, while one Kritter is named Kritter. Brawl doesn't show this, however, based on King of Swing kalling them Kremlings and how Barrel Blast only has one real Kritter, a retkon MAY be underway. Keyword, though, is "may." Regardless, Kritters kompose the majority of the Kremling Krew and Kritters have appeared in almost every Donkey Kong game in some form since Donkey Kong Kountry, missing only one, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Kritters are here to stay, that's for sure, so if King K. Rool doesn't deign to take on the Kongs in a Smash Bros. battle, then it's klear that the only other option for a DK villain would have to be Kritter.
And never again will I talk with so many K's in one paragraph. That was hard to do.
Name: Kritter
Game: Donkey Kong Country
Year: 1994
Moves
Up-B: Kaboing
Kritter leaps up high in a flying tackle.
B: Klap Trap Kannon
Kritter takes out a bazooka and fires a Klap Trap from it.
Side-B: Krash Klaw
Kritter races forward, slashing anyone in the way with his claws.
Down-B: Kudgel Slam
Kritter pulls out a mace and slams it into the ground. It has a bit of a recovery issue, but the power and knock-back makes up for that.
Final: TNT Barrel
Kritter pulls out his bazooka, but this time, rather than shooting Klap Traps, the bazooka fires TNT Barrels. From his position, he can aim the bazooka with the control stick and fire the explosive barrels with the B button. While he has unlimited ammo, his bazooka malfunctions after a while, quite effectively ending the attack.
Entrance: Kritter jumps out of a Kremling Drum.
Up-Taunt: Kritter raises an arm with a growl.
Side-Taunt: Kritter sneers and flexes his muscles.
Down-Taunt: Kritter spreads his arms and snarls.

No picture yet, but I swear I am starting work on an image project after I get back to my Wii, where I will begin bringing Brawl trophies over to the Internet, devoid of stands and backgrounds. For now, though, I will leave you with the trophy itself.
