Yes, you read that right. Characters. With an S. It's not a typo, here's why.
Name: Deku Link
Game: Majora's Mask
Year: 2000
Moves
Up-B: Deku Flower
Deku Link pulls out a pair of flowers and floats upwards on them. Though no damage is dealt, Deku Flower won't be cancelled by many attacks (though attacks that do more than 20 damage or that are fire-based will cancel the Flowers,) and the height gained is impressive (about as much as Fox's Fire Fox, but a bit more.)
B: Bubble Blast
Deku Link blows a bubble! By holding the B button, the bubble gets faster, stronger, and larger. The key problem with this bubble, however, is that it NEVER moves fast; at full charge (top speed,) the bubbles go about the speed of Jigglypuff's Rollout at mid-charge, and as fast as Jigglypuff just tapping Rollout at the bubble's slowest.
Side-B: Deku Nut
Deku Link spits an explosive nut. Though weak, the nuts go at high speeds, making them useful if you're shooting from afar.
Down-B: Zora Mask
Deku Link replaces his mask with the Zora Mask, making him Zora Link.
Taunt: Deku Link plays a song on his pipes.
Name: Zora Link
Game: Majora's Mask
Year: 2000
Moves
Up-B: Dolphin Leap
Zora Link lunges upwards like a dolphin, slashing anyone in the way with his fins.
B: Electric Barrier
Zora Link creates a barrier of electricity around himself, like if you hit the R button with the Zora Mask on in Majora's Mask. Similar to Fox's Reflector, except 1) it doesn't deflect projectiles, 2) it does more damage and 3) Zora Link cancels it after a time.
Side-B: Fin Blade
Zora Link whips his fins upwards, launching a blade of air that boomerangs back to Zora Link.
Down-B: Goron Mask
Zora Link replaces his mask with the Goron Mask, making him Goron Link.
Taunt: Zora Link takes out his Zoraxe and plays a song.
Name: Goron Link
Game: Majora's Mask
Year: 2000
Moves
Up-B: Goron Slam
Goron Link hops into the air then slams down to slam the ground, creating a shockwave. Unfortunately, Goron Link doesn't jump too high, making this move fairly useless as a recovery (though it still does serve as one.)
B: Goron Drums
Goron Link pulls out a set of drums and begins to play them. Anyone nearby is damaged by the soundwaves for as long as Goron Link plays them (he puts them away after a second, but may play them for as long as he needs to otherwise, similarly to Falco's Blaster in Melee.)
Side-B: Goron Roll
Goron Link rolls into a ball and rolls in place. Release the button, and Goron Link rolls forward at high speeds. Familiar? I wouldn't doubt it. Jigglypuff does something similar. However, Goron Link has a difference: In the air, he does a jolt upwards first, serving as a far better recovery than his Ground Slam.
Down-B: Deku Mask
Goron Link replaces his mask with the Deku Mask, making him Deku Link.
Taunt: Goron Link plays his drums.
SURPRISE! That's not the last of the Young Link masks!
Name: Oni Link
Game: Majora's Mask
Year: 2000
Moves
Up-B
Dark Spin: Oni Link spins his sword around, lifting him upwards as he attacks to either side.
B
Powder Keg: On the ground, Oni Link rolls an explosive barrel out in front of him. In the air, it falls below him. Either way, it explodes when it hits a wall, a lower floor, or any poor sucker to get in the way.
Side-B
Dark Beam: Oni Link launches a high-speed beam of light from his sword.
Down-B
Dark Wave: Oni Link uses a pulse of multi-colored light to cause a shockwave around him. This shockwave is similar to DK's Ground Slap in that it may be used repeatedly, however, due to the wave coming from the waist, it may be used in air.
Taunt: Oni Link gazes at the sky and yells.
So, how do you get to Oni Link? Read on.
Young Link Final: Fierce Diety Mask
Young Link replaces whatever mask he is currently wearing with the Fierce Diety Mask, turning into Oni Link in a fierce multi-colored explosion.
Oni Link Final: Dark Blast
Oni Link does Dark Beam, but it's much more devestating in that it's a much larger and more powerful beam. The mask then removes itself and Young Link replaces it with the mask he was using prior to transforming.
