Yeah yeah. I know. He's in. He's got other moves. Sue me, if Cartwheel isn't in the list then the list means nothing I tell you! Name: Diddy Kong Game: Donkey Kong Country Year: 1994 Moves Up-B: Monkey Flip Diddy lunges upwards. If he hits his target, he flips off of their face. B: Peanut Popgun Fine. I'll do it. But I won't like it. Diddy shoots a peanut out of a gun. Hold the button to rapid fire. Side-B: Cartwheel Diddy hops forward and begins to cartwheel at high speeds. It may be controlled. Very much a rip-off of Yoshi's Egg Roll, except Diddy is faster and harder to control than Yoshi. Down-B: Simian Spin Diddy spins around, whapping anyone around him with his tail. Final: Konga Jam Diddy pulls out an electric guitar and begins to rock out on it. Press the button in time to scatter notes that deal more damage. Stats Speed: 8/10 Power: 2/10 Jump: 8/10 Fall: 6/10 Size: 5/10 Weight: 4/10 Traction: 3/10 Entry: Diddy bursts out of a DK Barrel. Taunt: Diddy throws his hat in the air and winks at the camera.

Why not add two lists for the official chars? An SBL list and a Brawl list.

Simian Spin seems like a down A to me. Just doesn't fit. And what don't you like about the peanut gun, it's one of his signature moves.

I'm talkin' more 'long the lines of a Mario Tornado-like spin, not some cheap side-to-side tail-whap.
I just never liked it. I always felt the little monkey could have had a better one.

Okay I see. I approve that. Overall, good sub.

I feel the kartwheel, while being his most used and well-known attack, is more suitable among the basic attacks. Running + A = Kartwheel.

I feel the kartwheel, while being his most used and well-known attack, is more suitable among the basic attacks. Running + A = Kartwheel. But the Cartwheel is his signature move and from the very first game it was played just like that (if you time it right you can land into a Cartwheel, and it can be turned around.) Bit out of the league of a dash attack.

I still feel it would be better repped as a Side A or something and Smash B goes to something from DKR or DK64 or Original.

Bit out of the league of a dash attack. Thing is, that's not a move that kept going when you performed it. It tended to stop. What are you thinking by it being a clone of Egg Roll? What you saw in Donkey Kong Country was perhaps a sprite flip that couldn't even happen twice after pressing B. The DK64 version of the Cartwheel shows it's just a tackling cartwheel that ends quickly. Off-topic: EEEK! A spoiler avatar. I don't even want to learn whose avatar is that, and I'm going to take a break unless there's some sanity-demanding topic like this one (actually that's what I was already doing) Off-topic 2: People could feel bad if you submit stuff while they can't make submissions.

What I was thinking was adapting his signature move to a B-friendly format while maintaining a level of purity. I will handle that ASAP. That this discussion exists makes that comment hilarious.
