Do you know an AMAZING song from a video game? Please share it. Give us some awesome tunes. Especially since I'm thinking of adding music to the forums, as well. It would be like an endless playlist of video game music. On, of course, your vote. Here are a couple of my favorites, let's hear yours. Try to explain where it plays, please.
Oh, try to keep it to YouTube, if you can.
Aboard the SS Anubis
This song is from a game I freaking LOVE, Jet Force Gemini. This song plays on the SS Anubis, level 1-2 for the game. It's a space-station level, one of four. Depending on how you continue, you can follow up with another, the battleship Sekhmet, or go to the swamp planet Tawfret. If you follow Vela, you go to the Sekhmet and hear another awesome song...
Battleship Sekhmet
This song plays on level 2-1 of Jet Force Gemini, the Sekhmet. The Sekhmet, like the Anubis, is a space-station level, the second of four. While the Anubis was a cargo ship, Sekhmet is a battleship, and it shows in the overall design and complexity: The Anubis was full of boxes, was incredibly linear, and the fights were relatively simple, while Sekhmet was pretty much walkways and engines, required a bunch of keys to get through, and your enemies were much harder.
Castle / Boss Fortress
Fresh off the Brawl soundtrack and coming to you with flames a-rollin' is Castle / Boss Fortress, a remix of the dungeon themes for Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3. This track plays in Luigi's Mansion in SSBB, which is a haunted mansion where you can take out the walls. Along with beating the crap out of each other. Your call.
Brawl Theme
HA! Didn't think I'd leave this one hangin' here at SBL, now did you? This is the theme to Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It plays during the opening sequence, and if you make a custom stage, you can have it play there, too. First officially introduced to Smash Bros. Dojo on September 7, 2007 but first heard far beforehand, the Brawl Theme has always been attributed to this game, and it's certainly an impressive song. And so, on that note, I ask you to post your favorite video game songs, be they great, suck, or anywhere in between.
