In the Brawl trailer, we saw Samus using a powerfully charged blast on Meta-knight and Pit. Two things happened that lead me to doubt that she was using an Extreme attack.
1) The Brawl trailer shot would have the exact same description as the Charge-shot. I mean, both charged up, both were an energy blast, I mean, couldn't it just as well be that she was using the B attack? 2) Every character was seen with a golden aura around them as they attacked (technically including Wario, because I've never seen, even where they're visible, a glowing fart, and it did illuminate the parts we could see). When Samus fired her shot, she wasn't glowing.
Could this mean that we weren't looking at an Extreme attack, but instead just her firing her B attack? It's possible. What are your thoughts?

Your right.
Her extreme should be the Omega Cannon.

A Power-bomb would also be a good trick. Currently, that's what we have. I'm open to change, though (for many characters, but I like what I did for Pichu. That'll be a fun one indeed.)

I never thought it was an extreme attack, but pretty effects for the trailer.

Many people seem to think it is.

Probably its her B move. Just now you charge for awhile.

Many people seem to think it is. Well I figured "That's a pretty lame attack, it's the same as her B move..."

I didn't know what it was, so I just figured "I'll watch it later and try and find out." Kept doing it and eventually came to my conclusion.

Lessee, In MPH, it is the ultimate move that kills them in one hit.
Of course in Brawl it wouldn't be as strong as that.
This may be wrong, I haven't beat hunters..

I don't think it's a normal move. I mean, that looked pretty devastating to happen on a normal basis, even if the sacrifice is a long charge time.

I think that was her B move, and it will stay the same as it was in Melee. I think they were just showing it differently in the trailer..

So was Mario's move his fireball, but shown differently in the trailer? *sarcasm*
It's possible they removed Samus' regular charge shot and made her extreme attack (whatever you wanna call it) what we saw in the trailer.
