Name: Arche Klaine Game: Tales of Phantasia Entrance: Flies in on her broom Taunt: Twirls in a circle on her broom while giggling. Attacks: B: Fireball - Shouts the word "Fireball!" then blasts a fireball somewhat larger then Mario's or Luigi's. B Smash: Cyclone - Shouts the word "Cyclone!" then spins around. Wind will surround her in a tornado fashion as she slides slightly to the side. B Down: Grave - Shouts the word "Grave!" then two sets of four spiked rocks pop out of the ground, one set on either side of Arche. The rocks return to the earth after the attack is over. Note: The attack was incorrectly translated Glaive in the GBA game, please do not call it this.B Up: Ice Arrow - Shouts the words "Ice Arrow!" then surrounds herself in ice shaped to a point (much like a pointed diamond) and bursts upwards. The ice shatters once it's reached it's ultimate height. Extreme: Judgement - Shouts the word "Judgement!" then a giant pillar of light (I mean giant, basically the size of Snorlax falling) blasts onto the stage from the heavens above. When it reaches the center of the stage it emits an explosive-like shockwave of the same blueish light that the beam itself is made up of. Oh and the screen darkens to. Stats: Size: 4/5 Weight: 3/5 Strength: 3/5 Jump: 2/5 Fall: 3/5 Traction: 2/5 Speed: 3/5 A little background: Arche Klaine is a half-elf spell caster. She is extremely perverted, and according to in game, has already had sex at or before the age of sixteen (which she is now.) She served as a key element in stopping Dhaos due to her magic casting abilities. She even played host to the ghost of one of her best friends (who was lost in an invasion.) Extra: Arche flies on her broom, but only as her second jump. Her second jump can be held for around three seconds, during this time you have free control of her flight, however cannot attack. No broom in taunt or in ability. My only concern.

^ The broom is part of Arche's character. If I didn't have her ride it at some point, she wouldn't seem the same.
Also, I think I may have her hold and use it as a melee weapon...

Fine, but no broom in abilities or taunt. It just doesn't work with the Smash style except for under strict circumstances (Kamek being a prime example.)

Well, I was thinking of having her hold her broom at all times... it won't look so weird when she uses it if she holds it at all times.
Besides, what makes Kamek's broom so different from Arche's?

Position of use. Kamek's broom being set in a spot where certain rules don't apply and new ones do (the Extreme attack,) I'm willing to allow it. Since Arche already has Judgement up her arsenal, the broom is no longer possible.

But it's not used in her attacks at all, save for some melee attacks performed with the A button.

Hence the problem. You want her to use the broom as a vehicle, but not as an Extreme attack. It's awkward, and I don't like that.

But she does use the broom as a vehicle, or more correctly, transportation.
Removing Arche of her broom is like removing Jill of her Dozer.

Which is the problem! Using something as a form of transportation is too awkward!
And try and argue against Jill. It's not gonna work. Technically, Jill's in a body-sized mech. It's like a spherical version of Samus' Power Suit, not a vehicle, but a suit of armor of sorts.
