A couple of items from Mario games! Name: Firebar From: Super Mario Bros Year: A long time ago System: NES Pic: Effect: The Firebar appear as a regular brown block. Pick it up and then throw it wherever you want. As the Flipper in SSBM, the item will hover above the ground, so you can set this item everywhere. Once thrown, a bar made of fireballs will appear and will start spinning around the block. If a character gets hit by the rotating Firebar, he will get 10% damge, and will be burnt (same effect as Ness's PK Fire). Set this item strategically to create a good trap. Name: Ball'n'Chain From: Super Mario World Year: 1992-1993 System: SNES Pic: Effect: The Ball'n'Chain appear as a regular grey block. Pick it up and then throw it wherever you want. As the Flipper in SSBM, the item will hover above the ground, so you can set this item everywhere. Once thrown, a long chain carrying a spiky ball will appear, and will start spinning around the block. The chain being longer than the Firebar, this item has a longer range. Though, he obviously doesn't trigger off any burning effect when it hits a foe. Each hit damages for 20%. Watch out!!! Not my best submission, but we need a few items for the update

Nice, but would they be like Flipper Replacements, or would the knock-back be different?

The knock-back is different. Compare: - Flipper: 1% damage, sends you back far away - Firebar: 10% damage, burning effect, doesn't send back - Ball'n'Chain: 20% damage, long range, slight knock-back Thanks, BTW!!!!

I thought the flipper kinda kept you in. You know, it just sat there and constantly flicks you around. Also, I thought the burn effect knocked you slightly back. A more reasonable, therefore would be...
Flipper: Poor knockback, bad damage, good spin, great time Firebar: Good knockback, great damage, bad spin, poor time Ball'n'chain: Great knockback, good damage, poor spin, bad time
(In order from lowest grade to highest: Bad, Poor, Good, Great.)
And of course, that leaves open one more possibility for "Bad knockback, poor damage, great spin, good time."
