Another item!
Name: Book Spirits
From: Yoshi Universal Gravitation
Year: 2003
System: GBA
These spirits appear on the battlefield as a small red book. When you take the book, it suddenly opens, and one the spirits listed below pops out of it. Each spirit has his own ability.
Spirit of Cuteness
The spirit of Cuteness will heal your character, decreasing by 20% his damage percentage.
Spirit of Money
The spirit of Money will give you two extra coins for the trophy lottery (in 1P mode or in VS mode). If you are playing a Coin Match, he will give you twenty coins.
Spirit of Strenght
The spirit of Strenght will double the strenght of your A moves for 10 seconds. The strenght of your B moves is not affected by the power of the spirit. Your character will glow red during those ten seconds.
Spirit of Speed
The spirit of Speed will double the speed of your character for 10 seconds. Unlike the Bunny Hood, the spirit doesn't modify your jumping abilities. Your character will glow yellow during those ten seconds.
Spirit of Kindness
The spirit of Kindness will equalize the damage percentage of all the fighters on screen, decreasing it to the lowest damage percentage on the screen. For instance, Mewtwo has 30% damage, Mario 103% damage and Link 67% damage: if the spirit of Kindness appears, all the players will get their damage percentage down to 30%.
Spirit of Fear
The spirit of Fear will frighten your opponent, which results in stunning him for 6 seconds, and damaging him for 2%.
Spirit who loves surprises
The spirit who loves surprises will release on the battlefield three random items. If you are playing VS mode, and if you have selected "No items", this spirit will release empty containers.
Hongo
Hongo, the great spirit of the Book, will add 1500 extra bonus points to your score (as Mew or Celebi did in SSBM) every time he appears. He is pretty rare, and releasing him gives you the "Hongo" trophy as well.
Note: Once they have used their power, the spirits fly away.
