A stage from DKC2!
[glow=red,2,300]Stage[/glow]
Name: Krazy Kremland
From: Donley Kong Country 2
Year: ??
System: SNES
[glow=red,2,300]Picture[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]Description[/glow]
This is a moving stage with automatic screen-scrolling. You are fighting on the top of big skull-shaped cars, like the ones you can see on the pic. Their size was increased, so that they can serve as decent platforms. Like in Big Blue, some cars will sometimes appear on the screen while some others will get offscreen. If you fall onto the railway, you won't die instantly, but you have a very short intant to jump back onto a skull car.
The cars will sometimes go inside a tunnel or a cave. If this happen, just duck in order not to be pushed off the screen. As you must have guessed it, the railway isn't flat and straightforward. There are many slopes going up and down, and even some loops which will turn the screen upside-down. The controls are reversed during this moment. Although it doesn't last for more than one or two seconds, this may be enough to make a lethal mistake, so watch out.
Rarely, due to technical problems, the skull-shape cars will stop in the middle of the railway: the screen scrolling will stop too. You can go on fighting on the cars, and you can now fight on the railway as well. Just be sure to get back onto the cars when they start again.
The background is the weird-looking fun fair of Krazy Kremand, with all kinds of funny stuff, including giant carousels, and a cirus, as you can see on the pic. There are fireworks in the sky, too, but I don't think you will have time to admire them ( )
