Name: Baby Bowser's Playroom
Region: Yoshi's Island
Game: Yoshi's Island, 1995
This is the stage you fight Stork on when unlocking him. During the unlock battle for Stork, the CP will start out with Baby Bowser as the selected character you fight (but can switch.)
I'll try to have some proper maps up soon.
This stage takes place in the area during two events: The first is in Baby Bowser's playroom before it's destroyed, where the initial showdown between Yoshi and the evil lizard took place. And then in the destroyed ruins of his playroom, where the final showdown was held.
When the stage starts it is in the undestroyed Playroom (Screenshot One). The only way to defeat an enemy hear is through star KO, which, if you use the stage effect, should be easier then anywhere else. By attacking the floor, you can cause the floor to travel in waves and not only damage foes, but flip them upwards. The stronger the attack on the floor, the bigger and more powerful the wave.
About twentyfive seconds in an explosion will block the players vision for a moment. When the explosion fades BB's playroom has been decimated (Screenshot 2.) The battle still seems simple, and now you can knock foes off the sides too! Oh, but we aren't quite done with hazards yet. Oh no. While the floor doesn't turn into waves anymore, it does fall. And not by it's own. Two waves of flaming boulders will fall onto the stage, each wave making the fighting area smaller and smaller by having the boulders (Which deal heavy damage to players foolish enough to get hit by them) knock out areas of the floor. In addition to the boulders, another new "hazard" appears. Giant balloons float by carrying the stage-specific item (it's possible, Whispy Woods had stage-specific apple weapons) of a Giant Yoshi Egg. This egg will throw the player off balance while they hold it, and it can't be tossed far, but it deals heavy damage as well as causing an earthquake that will halt anybody on the ground except for the person who used it. The eggs will commonly release items as well. Ten seconds after the second wave of boulders has left only a few thin sticks of floor to fight on, Kamek/Future Kamek (or a random Magikoopa, assuming Kamek is a character) will appear and a flash of magic will blind the screen. The magic will clear and the stage will be back to it's original state in the playroom.
Cameos: A Raphael the Raven and Goonie constellation can be seen in the sky of the background, as well as Kamek/Future Kamek/Magikoopa flying by the background on his broom before showing up to return the stage to normal.
Music: My original idea was to mix the two songs played when you fight Baby Bowser into one long song, but since each stage has about five tracks, these are the ones I choose for this one:
Yoshi vs Boss
Big Bad Baby Bowser
Island Castle
Grande Finale
Safari Bowser Battle
