Something you should know also, there’s spoilers in the creature section (last creature description). Oh and spell check wasn't working and I'm too lazy to look through it so I warn you of grammar and spelling mistakes. ;D
I feel Smash Bros. needs to have something Pikmin in it besides just Trophies. Pikmin is a great game. So is it's sequel. And a whole bunch of things from Pikmin are suitable for Smash. Olimar as a character, Louie an assist or character. But my number one things for Smash from Pikmin are the stages. They are beautiful, well made and they never get old. Filled with challenges and enemies. So here is one stage that appeared in both Pikmin games, but under two names. For the sub, I'm using it's original name.
Name: Forest of Hope (Awakening Wood in Pikmin 2)
Game: Pikmin
Year: 2001
System: GCN
When you first start out, P1 and P3 start on the bridge. P2 and P4 each start on land. Throughout the whole battle, small tadpole-like creatures (of which their name escapes me) can be seen squirming about in the pond below. They scamper away when you come near them.
Numerous enemies appear on this stage. But it's impossible for every single creature to appear on the stage, even if you did a 99 minute fight. It's like that because I want to focus other features instead of the enemies. They are really rare. Here are some enemies. I'll get pics later.
Bulborb
The most famous Pikmin creature, they appear on the cover of the first Pikmin game. Big Bulborb's and small Bulborbs appear. The small ones run around and bite players doing 5 damage. They can be Koed easily. They do leave after a while though. The big Bulborbs only appear at night (which I'll explain later in this sub). They walk around biting players. Their bite does 10 damage, also they are harder to kill. They leave after a while (actaully, all creatures will leave so I don't have to say that on every creature description).
Bumbling Snitchbug
The Bumbling Snitchbug is a bug (duh) with long arms, no legs and wings. It will fly around grabbing players and throwing into the ground. You'll get stuck in the ground just like the Pitfall and DK's >B. It does 5-7% damage. You'll be in the ground for 5 seconds.
Pellet Posy
Those little flowers with the numbers on them. Yes, those are creatures surprisingly. When these sprout you can attack them to get there, uhm...., thing with the number on it. When a player grabs it, their health replenishes by whatever number it has. There's a 1,5,10,20, and 50. Most of the time it's 1 and 5.
Fiery Blowhog
This a pig-like a creature with a trunk. It blows out fire from the trunk. That's pretty much it. It just burns players.
Watery Blowhog
Samething but this blows water. The water blows characters back, and does no damage.
Dweevils
Dweevils are spider-like creatures that strattle along. There's four kinds of Dweevils. Fire, Electricity, Water, and Poison. All these can pick up item and carry them away BTW. Fire Dweevils will blow Fire which burns players. Electric Dweevils will shoot sparks that shock players. Water Dweevils shoot out water which will push players back, but doing no damage. Poison Dweevils shout out purple clouds of poison. This poison acts like the Lip item from SSBM.
Ravenous Whiskerpillar
These spesky little caterpillars look ferocious. But there not. They are harmless. You can KO them if you feel like it.
Decorated Cannon Beetle
This beetle is large with a long red body and an "O" shaped mouth. It shoots boulders out of it's mouth. These boulders are powerful but easy to dodge. Boulders knock you back if hit. These are easy to KO because they have a hard time turning around.
Puffy Blowhog
This is in the same family as the Watery and Fiery Blowhog. It’s like a large blue puffball that floats around. It too has a trunk. This creature blows wind, the wind will knock players backward. Doing know damage though. If these are KOed, they fly off the screen imitating a balloon losing it’s air.
TITAN DWEEVIL (SPOILERS!!)
In Pikmin 2, there was a final boss, then, you could go back to save Louie who gets left behind. So the final, final boss is the Titan Dweevil. A huge dweevil that can cover the whole stage. This is very hard to KO and it stays a little longer than other creatures. The good thing about it is that it’s about three times as rare as Mew and Celebi combined in Melee. So it’s possible you might never see it. Anyway, now for it’s attacks. All of these were attacks used by Titan Dweevil in Pikmin 2.
Flare Cannon: The Flare Cannon is the easiest attack to avoid; it simply sprays flames in a set radius, and it will rotate back and forth in about a 180 degree motion. To dodge it, just get on the other side of Titan Dweevil.
Shock Therapist: Possibly the toughest attack to avoid. When this attack is used, it will spit out eight electric nodes that will activate and form multiple electric force fields that electrocute all players that touch them. It moves around while doing this so be careful.
Monster Pump: When this attack is used, it spits out blasts of water that will get latched on the players’ heads and squeeze them. They lose damage every second. It wears off though.
Comedy Bomb: When this weapon is used, it will spray three streams of poisonous gases. They move at the same speed and direction, so standing in between them at all times should be no problem. Getting caught in the poison is like having four or five Lip items smacking you.
And here’s three pictures of the Titan Dweevil. images1.wikia.nocookie.net/pikmin/images/a/a8/Titandweevil.jpg

Oh also, all of these attacks are NOT used more than twice. (pictures weren't showing up so I linked them)
Now that the creatures are done with, let’s get on with other elements of the stage.
This stage is like Smashville, it follows the Wii’s internal clock. If it’s 3-9 am, it’s morning. If it’s 10am-4pm, it’s noon, 5-7pm, afternoon, 8-11pm, dark. 12-2am, it’s between night and morn. From 7:30pm to 5am, that’s when the Big Bulborbs come out and attack. But sometimes when you play a long match, the stage will ignore the clock and change to night, skipping afternoon or something.
The bridge in the middle will sometimes give in and fall apart. After a while Pikmin come from one of the sides and start rebuilding the bridge. It’s random on what the colors are. There’s red (immune to fire), yellow (immune to electricity), blue (immune to water), white (immune to poison), and purple (fat, heavy, and strong). Sometimes it might be all reds or all purples, you really don’t know. The thing with this is that different creatures’ attacks range in attributes. Water, fire, etc., so if a Fiery Blowhog comes and flares the pikmin with fire, all reds (if there are any) will keep on working on the bridge and ignore what’s going. On the other hand, any other non-red pikmin will burn and die. Oh, and these pikmin are immune to players’ attacks. Here are the strongest pikmin (in order from strongest to weakest). Red, purple, blue, white, yellow. So it really depends on what colors are out to determine the time.
I feel like I forgot something, I was gonna add something extra but I just can’t remember! Anyway, probably one of the longest subs I’ve ever done. Tell me what you think?
