Name: Lethe
Game: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Lethe is one of the Beast Laguz available to use in FE:PoR. She has a minor role in the story where she assists Mordecai in escorting Ike and the Greil Mercenaries to King Cenghis. After this her and Mordecai are assigned to be guards of Ike's group and follow them for the remainder of the quest. After this, like most characters, she fades into the obscurity of your roster. However, she is also the most unique of any Laguz in terms of appearence, and like all FE characters, develops immensely through Support Scenes. She is considered one of the more important characters in FE:PoR by fans, with only Ranulf and Caneghis being more important Beast Tribe members.
Lethe will battle in her Cat form, as canonically, she is unable to battle in Beorc (Human) form.
Stats:
Speed: 8/10
Strength: 5/10
Size: 5/10
Weight: 3/10
Jump: 7/10
Fall: 7/10
Traction: 3/10
Entrance: Lethe borrows Ike's teleport entrance and appears on the stage, but in her human form. After appearing she transforms into her cat-form.
Up Taunt: Lethe throws back her head and meows fiercely.
Side Taunt: Lethe's fur puffs up and she hisses.
Down Taunt: Lethe will slam her paw into the ground and assume a threatening stance.
Special Attacks:
Up B: Laguz Stone - A light will engulf Lethe and she'll be propelled upward. This is the only attack to feature Human Lethe. As she spirals through the air she will transform into cat-form again. If a player attacks human Lethe, however, the user must evade foes as Human Lethe (Who has the same stats as Cat-Lethe, save height) for five seconds.
B: Hunter - Pressing and holding B will cause Lethe to crouch down. The further she crouches, the further and faster she'll leap. After releasing the B button, she leaps through the air, pinning the first foe she hits into the ground and taking a bite out of them.
Smash B: Laguz Lunge - This move is interesting. By pressing Side-B Lethe will leap through the air a great distance, easily passing behind foes and landing on the ground behind them. That part of the attack does no damage at all. However if the user pushes the joystick in the opposite direction just as Lethe hits the ground, she will rush back and strike the enemy from behind, eventually returning to her original position.
Down B: Spiral Claw - Lethe will spin in a circle, damaging foes with her claws.
Final: Reinforce - Lethe will meow fiercely, like in her taunt, and two Beast Laguz will fall onto the stage per platform (so if it were Battlefield, eight Laguz would fall, one on every end of a platform.) Usually they're all cats (yellow and blue) but occasionally a Tiger (Blue and Green, huge and beastly and dealing a ton of damage) will also appear. The Laguz will bound across their respective platforms and striking foes. Oh don't worry about jumping, if a player attempts to jump away from a Laguz the Laguz will jump as well and strike the foe in the air. Dodging and Shielding will help the other players, though not much.
A picture of Mordecai, a tiger Laguz, can be found ( content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en/2/2e/Mordecaitrans.jpg ) there. Most tiger Laguz look the same though either blue or green, this is for reference.
Notes: Lethe has a palette that resembles Ranulf.
Lethe carries items in one of her front paws.
