This is part of the Subspace Emissary.
Dr. Eggman is at it again and Sonic attempts to stop him. However, he is not aware that Dr. Eggman is part of the SSE.
Wing Fortress: Stage 1
Playable Characters: Sonic
Enemies:
Primids: Pretty Basic. all they can do is attack you with close combat techniques.
Sword Primid: These Primids have beam swords.(hence the name) They can be a bit dangerous and can reflect projectiles with their swords.
Scope Primids: These Primids have a long range bazooka and are capable of two attacks. They can fire three weak shots, or one powerful charged shot. The powerful shot can defeat you if you have high enough damage.
Roturrets: These enemies are tough to beat. However there is a spot that can protect you from Roturrets. It is between the guns, but this can still deal quite some damage.
Buckots: This enemy will drop chunks of hot metal onto you, which can be trouble. However, it can be easily defeated.
Metal Primid: These Primids are the toughest because they cannot flinch from attacks, nor can they be knocked away. They fight like regular Primids, but their bodies can reflect projectiles.
Clucker: This enemy appeared from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. It starts out as a mere base, but once you get close, it will pop up and start firing eggs. This does decent damage, but low knockback.
After reaching the end of the stage, someone stops Sonic. It's
Shadow, and under the orders of Dr. Eggman, he is to defeat Sonic.

Up-B
Chaos Control :: Shadow launches upwards with a flash of blue light in a quick tackle.
B
Chaos Spear :: Shadow fires a bolt of lighting from his hand.
Side-B
Chaos Fade :: Shadow stuns his enemy with a quick dash.
Down-B
Spin Dash :: Shadow rolls into a ball and shoots himself out, hitting higher speed and power with longer charges.
Final Smash
Chaos Blast :: Shadow leaps up and launches a spectacular explosion of Chaos Energy from his body.
You just fight him like you would with a regular battle.
After he gets defeated, a cutscene will happen.
Shadow gets turned into a trophy, and Sonic, chooses to revive him. Sonic tries to conivnce Shadow to join him. Shadow is a bit hesitant, but finally decides to join.
End of Stage 1

Enemies:
Clucker: See above.
Scope Primid: See above.
Metal Primid: See above.
Cymul: This enemy lacks defensive capabilities, but can be annoying because it can reflect projectiles, and it can attack you by spinning around. The attack does decent damage and decent knockback.
Armank: This enemy is capable of a few attacks, once the arm comes out. In order to defeat it, you must destroy the arm first, and then attack the green blob inside. If it retreats inside, repeat the process.
Autolance: This enemy can be annoying because the weak spot will be revealed after hitting it a few times. It has three attacks. The first is to launch a lance to you. The next one is just a direct jab. And the last one is the same, but it also knocks you upwards. all three can be lethal.
Jyk: A spikey enemy that will move around and can give decent damage. You can't defeat it.
After completing this stage, a cutscene will start.
Dr. Eggman sees Sonic and Shadow coming and he leaves to his ship. He then starts the Subspace bomb countdown, which is inside the ship engine. Sonic and Shadow then pursue him with the help of Tails' airplane. Along the way, they see the ship get dragged into Subspace. They soon catch up with Dr. Eggman and jump onto the ship and Tails leaves. They soon enter the Death Egg.
Death Egg

Big Primid: This enemy is very tough. It fights like a regular Primid, but it's attacks are much more powerful.
Glunder: This enemy rolls around, but if you get too close, they will attack. This does rapid damage and has decent knockback.
After reaching the end, a cutscene will happen. Dr. Eggman will get into this robot. After rising, he immediately shoots both of his arms at Sonic and Shadow. They both get trapped between the spikes on the arms. The top will open and Dr. Eggman starts to charge up a Dark Cannon. As he is about to shoot Sonic, a ball of lightning hits the Dark Cannon and causes it to explode. Soon something floats down in front of Dr. Eggman. It's Deoxys. Soon after, Dr. Eggman gets back in his robot and the arms come back. Now, it is time to defeat Dr. Eggman.

Dr. Eggman is very slow in this robot. His vulnerable spot is the body itself. However, the spikey arms make it a little difficult to strike him. After walking a little bit, he will stop and boost upwards. A crosshair will appear. move around until it stops and move away from it. He will then land. This can give 30% of damage. If you in front of him, he will fire his arms, one at a time. each one gives 12% of damage. If you're behind him when he lands, he will fire two bombs backwards. They will land and stay there for 2 seconds, then explode. He does that twice. He will boost up again. Next time he lands, he will start to walk again. Keep hitting him until he is defeated.
Trophy difficulty: Very Easy
After defeating him, he will turn into a trophy. Sonic, Shadow, and Deoxys will then leave the Death Egg with the ship that Dr. Eggman used.
