One of the few RPG characters of particular note is Prince Peasley. Of all the major non-starring heroes in the Mario & Luigi series, Peasley is the only one who is always an active hero, when himself, of course. Bowser spent time as Rookie and Bowletta, making him twice over a villain, while Queen Bean is sedentary when herself, rather than an active participant in the story when devoid of the Belly Blech Worm. Peasley is a friend who does alot of work without the heroes, making him rather interesting: Though not a party member (and therefore never himself seen in battle,) Peasley seems to be a capable fighter, and even moreso, the only hero other than the Mario Bros. to, in his true form, fight, albeit out of the battle screen. I'd say he's one of the few Mario RPG characters worth a position in a Smash game. Question is how. Well, I've figured out a way.
Name: Prince Peasley
Game: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Year: 2003
Moves
Up-B: Rising Blade
No, not his winged bean. Rising Blade is alot like Meta Knight's Shuttle Loop, except he doesn't start gliding at the end.
B: Magic Bean
I'm ripping off both Mario and Queen Bean for this, but it's a logical choice. While Peasley doesn't have any attacks as Peasley to tap for in-battle, Peasley's mother (with worm in gut) had an ability that could be used here: The Bean Spit, though Peasley is to proper to spit one out. Instead, Peasley throws a bean to bounce along. It's alot like a Mega-Vitamin, except it doesn't do the damage that the Mega-Vitamins do, almost literally a fireless Fireball from Mario.
Side-B: Sword Blitz
An attack he used on Fawful, as a matter of fact. Sword Blitz is a repeated series of stabs with the sword, finished with a quick sideways slash. The stabs hold the foe in place. As an attack, it's reminiscent of the Knuckle Joe Assist Trophy, though obviously toned down. It even ends similar: Like Marth's Dancing Blade, you can determine how he attacks at the end, determining knock-back: Up is an upwards slash that knocks them sky-high, Side is a forward slash that drives them back, and down is a dropping chop that slams enemies to a nearby distance for a further attack.
Down-B: Shine Smile
Okay, this one is a stunning move, quite literally. By smiling, Peasley creates a bright region that stuns nearby enemies.
Final: Dragohoho
Peasley DID have a fight, however, in which he was on screen. Except not as Peasley. Peasley was transformed into Dragohoho by Cackletta and Fawful, then sealed in an egg atop Hoohoo Mountain. On hatching, he was a savage beast, and could spit fiery rocks at the brothers. This was a powerful form that was created with magic, but the Smash Ball could easily grant Peasley this form just as well, and even better for him, he'd actually have control over the body because of the Smash Ball. Which means you can run, jump, and spit giant flaming hunks of stone at folks all on your own accord.
Entrance: Peasley flies in on his winged bean.
Up-Taunt: Peasley brushes his hair back and says "Hey!"
Side-Taunt: Peasley sheathes his sword with a laugh.
Down-Taunt: Peasley laughs with his hands on his hips.
