Graphically, Isle Delfino looks pretty, far better now than in Sunshine. I love the possibilities it turns up, but there are some that I hate. This may or may not have confirmed Bowser Jr. or Shadow Mario, but I'm thinking it likely (^.^), but on a down note, it might also imply Petey Pirahna, a character I very much hate due to his bitching despite being a minor boss.

That sounds so true! Bowser Jr./Shadow Mario seems like the next Mario addition. Maybe Waluigi will make it to SSB4 if no one else gets in the way (Toad?).

It's even possible he'll hit Brawl.

Waluigi doesn't deserve to be in Brawl. He's mainly there for sports.

Perhaps, but you have to remember that Waluigi has played the villain's role (admittedly in a spin-off) and is generally referenced to as at least having connections to if not actually being Foreman Spike. He's one of those characters who is unpredictable for Brawl entry, even with Wario confirmed.

I still don't like Waluigi but those spin-offs have been so many, I'm not so sure now of considering him out, even with Wario using his Diamond City outfit. Wario even got a non-WarioWare game recently. If Wario appears with a mushroom symbol in the upcoming updates, I'll fully agree that's a signal that Waluigi may be coming . But back to Bowser Jr., that makes a lot of sense. A boss character in more than one game, appearances in spin-offs (including Mario Kart), and a unicity (unlike the Koopalings). Plus Shadow Mario... That's the perfect replacement for Dr. Mario. Or it would be if none of the button combinations was needed for a transformation. But give him Dr. Mario's stats, and now that's a coherent Mario roster.

It may still mean Waluigi comes in even if Wario keeps the W, due to Waluigi's ties to the fat one. Waluigi is, simply put, the Wario's answer to Luigi, Diddy Kong, and Daisy for Mario, DK, and Peach, respectively. There's a 50-50 chance Waluigi will get in, so don't go betting the farm to either side.

It could be, it could be . Often when people discuss this same Waluigi topic, they bring to the conversation the fact that he was cameoed in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. Not that relevant IMO, but still, his link to Wario is way greater (because it's blatant) than the one you mention that links Waluigi with Foreman Spike.

The only game I know Waluigi being an actaully villain in is DDR: Mario Mix. Which is a spin-off yes, but that's the only one. Besides, Waluigi's not a Mario character. He's a Wario character. So he won't be an addition to the Mario series. But there's lots of other characters that would make infront of Waluigi. Here's some I think would be good.
Bowser Jr./Shadow Mario Geno Daisy Birdo and Wart
Those are some I think are infront of Waluigi in getting a chance in a SSB game. There's probably much more. But that's from me.

@ Johans: The Spike connection is merely something to think about in general.
@ Mr. G: You forget, though, that Waluigi's more famous, recurrant, and playable than Wart. In simplest form, Junior > Geno > Daisy = Waluigi = Birdo > Wart. Wart's just not cut out for it, he's never been famous. He's, essentially, a cult villain. Birdo, Waluigi, and Daisy are playable, recurrant, and famous, but Geno trumps them with fame, playability, and demand. Junior beats Geno due to greater playability, recurrance, and fame, and everyone's betting on Junior getting in. Does that mean Junior will get in? No, of course not, but with all those bets, there's gotta be something to stir 'em.

Waluigi's not a Mario character. He's a Wario character. So he won't be an addition to the Mario series. Huh? You said yourself he comes from Mario spin-offs. And his association to Wario has only happened there. However, I do believe they could avoid being so rigorous about that. As for Bowser Jr., hasn't he ever been submitted? It's nuts not to have him in the site at this point.

Unfortunately, I've been wondering why Bowser Jr.'s still MIA. Not a single submission to grade.

You mean on the SBL site? If so, Phinos and I will submit him, we've been looking for ideas.

Phinos has agreed to submit him, so we'll have 'em him up in a couple days.
